MEDICAL WATCH:

2B Alberto Callaspo (sore right ankle) did not play Sept. 5-6. He is day-to-day.

RHP Brian Bannister (right shoulder fatigue) left the Sept. 2 game, and he will miss his next start.

RHP Gil Meche (right shoulder fatigue) missed his Sept. 4 start, and he will miss another start.

RHP Kyle Farnsworth (lower back spasms) left the Sept. 4 game, and he didn't pitch Sept. 5-6.

LHP John Bale (strained right hamstring) left the Sept. 4 game and hasn't pitch since. He is likely out for the season.

RF Jose Guillen (sore right hamstring) left the Sept. 2 game, and he was shut down for the season.

RHP Doug Waechter (strained right shoulder) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to Aug. 12. He was scheduled to have season-ending arthroscopic surgery.

RHP Juan Cruz (strained right shoulder) went on the 15-day disabled list Aug. 6.

SS Mike Aviles (right forearm strain) went on the 15-day disabled list May 24, and he was transferred to the 60-day DL on July 8. He had season-ending Tommy John elbow surgery July 8.

CF Coco Crisp (sore right shoulder) went on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to June 13, and he was transferred to the 60-day DL on July 3. He had season-ending surgery June 24.
