--RHP Luke Hochevar continues to pitch well for Class AAA Omaha, throwing eight scoreless innings Thursday against Memphis. In his past three starts, he has allowed one unearned run and 11 hits in 21 innings, while walking five and striking out 21. He has lowered his Pacific Coast League-leading ERA from 1.89 to 0.90 in that span. --The Royals' season-high six-game winning streak was snapped Friday with a 4-1 loss to the Angels. The Royals' longest winning streak last year was seven games in September.
