The bullpen blew a five-run lead in the ninth, and Minnesota beat Kansas City 9-8 in 10 innings. Pinch hitter Craig Monroe's three-run homer with two outs in the ninth extended the game and the Royals' misery.
"We've got too many (bleeping) babies here who don't know how to play the (bleeping) game," Guillen said. "This (bleep) is going to stop soon. You believe it. You'll find out how we're going to learn to win games.
"We didn't get the job done. That's it. ... I don't want to hear no (bleeping) complaints about the manager, why he didn't do this or do that. He cares more than anyone here about winning."
The Royals have been outscored 62-27 in the losing streak. After scoring just seven runs in their previous five games, they erupted for eight runs off Twins starter Livan Hernandez. Eight was not enough, however.
"I saw some offensive things that made me feel better, but I don't feel better about anything right now," Royals manager Trey Hillman said.
TWINS 9, ROYALS 8 (10 innings): Zack Greinke worked eight innings and held the Twins to three runs on five hits. He struck out eight and walked two. He left with an 8-3 lead, but relievers Ramon Ramirez and Joel Peralta failed to hold it. Joey Gathright collected three hits, including two singles, stole a base, drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and scored two runs. Miguel Olivo had two hits, including a double, and had two RBIs, while Alex Gordon had three hits, including a RBI double. The Royals stroked a season-high 16 hits.
